I’ve questioned the sanity of humans
All my life
I’ve been told you’re not alone

I have been searching for the slightest escape
a back door to another life

I’ve been waiting, for someone to tell me that I’m real

I’ve been called freaks, and the oddball
All my life
I never understood the people around me
All my life
I have been taught good and evil
All my life
I’ve wanted to look in the realms to the naked eye
But never in my life
I’ve never been here
never been real
You’re right
I’m not real.  Lost and FoundI feel so lost
Like there is a wound
Cut right into my soul
Blood flows from it
Like it was a water fall
Pouring from my veins
Killing me slowly
I need to be healed
I need to find myself
I need to save
What’s left of my life
I need to be completed

Do you ever have that feeling?
Whether it be day or night
The chill of a deadline approaching
and there's not a thing to write
You rip into your braincells
For inspiration's dying light
Surely there's something in there
Nope, still not a thing to write
Agitation pricks your mind
Thinking hard with all your might
then a small idea appears
but still not a thing to write
The clock ticks a little quicker
A muse finally in sight
Now here's a little poem
